The Vietnam Agarwood Association (VAWA) is a professional social organization established on January 11, 2010 under Decision No. 23/QD-BNV of the Ministry of Home Affairs, operating under the charter amended in 2023. The Association connects agarwood businesses nationwide, standardizes product quality, builds a transparent certification system, and brings Vietnamese agarwood to the international market. Currently in its 3rd term (2023–2028), the Association aims to become the most reputable agarwood organization in Southeast Asia by 2030.
